Today I will introduce one of my favorite foods and history of it a little bit.
That is Ramen!

The look, smell,taste and volume all are great for me:)
To travel around Japan and eat various Ramen in the various place is one of my dream.
By the way, do you know that Ramen came from China? I will introduce the history in short.
The history
It is said that Ramen was expanded by a Chinese who escaped from China in1659.
Ramen food culture expanded in earnest in Meiji era(1868~1912).
Mitsukuni Tokugawa(Mitokomon) is said first Japanese who ate Ramen.
Today, there are some kind of soup in Ramen, for instance, Soybean sauce, Miso, Salt , Pork and so on.
What soup is oldest one?
The answer is Soybean sauce!
And soup history is old in order of Pork, Miso, Salt.

To know some information about some foods we like has us preferring its than before.
I will feel more fun for eating Ramen in the future!
Anyway, I will go out to eat Ramen from now on, because I am so hungry.lol

I've never heard that ramen is from China. I thought it was Japanese food.

I recommen you go to Ramen museum in Yokohama, because there are some kinds of famous Gotochi Ramen in there.
I also ate eight kinds of Gotochi!

I love the Ramen museum in Yokohama. It was really interesting and there were so many kinds of ramen to try! I need to go back again and eat more ramen. Where is the best ramen near school?
